NeNe Leakes and Cynthia Bailey have ended their feud.

Former cast members of The Real Housewives of Atlanta came together on October 16 for an Atlanta Life Insurance event hosted by Magic Johnson in Atlanta. The atmosphere was filled with love as they reunited. Sharing a photo on Instagram, NeNe Leakes, aged 56, revealed that she ran into Cynthia Bailey, aged 56, on a recent night out, a delightful surprise she hadn't previously mentioned.

Leakes initially made a joke about "reading [Cynthia] down," but she later explained that any previous anger has dissipated.

"Seriously, you know I can't hold onto a grudge for too long!," Leakes added. "We had such a great time laughing together! It was pure, unfiltered laughter, my dear."

Bailey, on the other hand, shared the same photo on her own Instagram account. Captioning the post, the Celebrity Big Brother star expressed her unwavering love and happiness whenever she sees Nene Leakes, referring to her as "THE ONE." Despite the ups and downs they have experienced, Bailey emphasized that their love has always been genuine. Reflecting on the preciousness and brevity of life, she cherished the unforgettable memories they have created together and expressed her desire to move forward with love, peace, and laughter.

The rift between these long-time friends started when Leakes accused Bailey of colluding with other housewives to have her removed from RHOA after season 12. This occurred during an episode of Carlos King's podcast called "Reality With the King" in July.

Two days later, Bailey refuted the allegation, stating, "I lack the authority to dismiss NeNe Leakes from any position. Even if it were Taco Bell, I wouldn't possess the ability to terminate her employment, alright?" During her appearance on the podcast "Two Ts in a Pod" with Tamra Judge and Teddi Mellencamp, she further emphasized that if she truly held such influential capabilities, it would be puzzling why she is no longer a part of the show.

The following week, Leakes said that she was repairing her relationship with Bailey.

“For me, I have reached a place of mutual respect with her," she stated in an August interview with The Messenger. "From my perspective, our relationship is in a good place. However, we are no longer close friends, and that's perfectly fine. We shared many wonderful years of friendship, but our current dynamic has changed."

Both women appear to be committed to honoring their previous agreement. In an episode of RHOA's third season, Bailey presented Leakes with a candle and remarked, "This symbolizes a one-year contract between us. It can only be terminated if you provide a notarized letter expressing your desire to nullify the contract. We need to establish boundaries – this is a matter of great importance for me."

Leakes reluctantly signed the document, and now five years later, the contract appears to be valid again.
