Yellowstone Season 6 was set to feature long-lost Dutton brother
In an interview with Taste of Country, Cory Asbury expressed his excitement about the potential opportunity to be part of Season 6 of Yellowstone, as well as his disappointment when the show was ultimately canceled. The singer-songwriter had previously hinted at the role during an Instagram Q&A, where he shared his response to being asked about starring in a movie.
During an Instagram live session, Asbury discussed his intended role, revealing that he was meant to play Kayce's long-lost brother and was prepared to move to Montana for a year with his family. Despite receiving approval from his wife and children, the planned meeting with Luke Grimes and Tyler Sheridan never took place, and the role ultimately fell through.
