The roster will be divided into two groups: the primary set of playable characters and a selection of Kameo fighters who can be summoned with a single button press.

A potential leak for Mortal Kombat 1 has emerged, claiming to reveal the full playable roster for the upcoming game. According to a post on r/Mortalkombatleaks by Reddit user MarkT_D_W, the Krypt feature from the last three games will be eliminated in Mortal Kombat 1.
