A Hollywood makeup artist, Allie Shehorn, known for her work on films like Rebel Moon, Mean Girls, and Babylon, is currently recovering after a terrifying incident. She was allegedly stabbed over 20 times by her ex-boyfriend at her home in the Shadow Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles on Thursday, May 23. KTLA reported that the Los Angeles police and fire departments responded to the scene after receiving reports of a stabbing victim.

A GoFundMe page was set up by Shehorn's friends to help with her medical expenses. They claim that Shehorn was assaulted by her ex-boyfriend, who she had recently gotten a restraining order against.

The GoFundMe page describes Shehorn as a wonderful person, known for her warmth, kindness, and love. It states that no one, especially someone as caring as Shehorn, should have to go through such a traumatic event.

Christine White, a woman who is like an adopted mom to Allie, discovered Shehorn. She expressed her shock at the situation, stating that no one expects this kind of thing to happen to them.

White shared that he found her and had to enter the bedroom where the incident took place. It was not a pleasant sight.

According to Emily MacDonald, one of the organizers of the GoFundMe page, Shehorn is recovering well despite her injuries.

MacDonald mentioned that Shehorn has been in high spirits and has been a source of comfort for everyone around her. She has a natural inclination to uplift others, even during her own challenging times.

In a recent update on Tuesday, May 28, Jed Dornoff, another organizer of the GoFundMe campaign, informed that Shehorn has been transferred out of the intensive care unit.

Dornoff wrote that she is determined to not let this defeat her and is pushing through the pain to heal.

The LAPD informed KTLA that Shehorn's alleged attacker had fled the state. Shehorn's friends mentioned on Monday, May 27, through GoFundMe that the individual was eventually apprehended in Texas.

We has reached out to the LAPD for further comment.
