Denzel Washington

Moreover, Washington has showcased his directorial skills in projects like Antwone Fischer, The Great Debaters, Fences, and A Journal for Jordan.
The film Fences, released in 2017, garnered widespread acclaim and earned Washington four Academy Award nominations, winning one. It also received six Critics' Choice nominations, winning one, and secured two Golden Globe nominations, winning one. In addition to his film achievements, Washington received a Tony Award in 2010 for his outstanding portrayal in the stage production of Fences. Recognizing his remarkable contributions, he was honored with the Cecil B. DeMille Lifetime Achievement Award at the Golden Globe Awards in 2017.

Ryan Hurst
