Editor's P/S

As a long-time fan of the Percy Jackson book series, I am thrilled about the release of the new TV series on Disney+. The 2010 film adaptation was a disappointment for many fans, including myself, so I am hopeful that this new series will be a more faithful adaptation of the books. The fact that author Rick Riordan has more input in the TV series gives me hope that it will capture the essence of the books and do justice to the beloved characters.

The release schedule for the episodes is exciting, with the first two episodes premiering on December 20th. I can't wait to dive into the world of Percy Jackson once again and follow him on his adventures as he navigates the world of Greek myths and monsters. The episode titles, which follow the chapter titles of the books, also suggest that the series will stay true to the original story. I am particularly looking forward to seeing how the series brings to life some of the iconic scenes and characters from the books, such as the fight with the Minotaur and the interactions with the gods on Mount Olympus.
