Reiner Braun from Attack on Titan joins the cast of The Dangers In My Heart season 2

The official team behind The Dangers in My Heart season 2 announced on January 10, 2024, that Yoshimasa Hosoya, known for his role as Reiner Braun in Attack on Titan, will be joining the voice cast as Anna Yamada's father in the upcoming episode on January 14, 2024.

This season serves as the sequel to the original season, which was released in April 2023. The latest season premiered on January 7, 2024, at 1:30 am JST. The anime is based on the rom-com manga of the same name written and illustrated by Norio Sakurai.

The Dangers in My Heart season 2 casts Attack on Titan's Reiner Braun as Anna Yamada's father

On Wednesday, January 10, 2024, The Dangers in My Heart season 2's official website and X (formerly Twitter) announced that Yoshimasa Hosoya would be joining the anime's voice cast as the character Anna Yamada's father.

Yoshimasa-san is a highly regarded voice actor known for his work in popular series such as My Hero Academia, Haikyuu!!, Bongou no Stray Dogs, Dorohedoro, and more.

In addition to this, the character design for Anna Yamada's father has also been unveiled. The illustration portrays him wearing a casual full-sleeve T-shirt with rolled-up sleeves, featuring a design that reflects his passion for games.

Additionally, he is adorned in pale trousers with hair bangs cascading over his face. The official website for The Dangers in My Heart season 2 depicts him as a feared individual due to his silent nature and muscular build.

This character is very reserved, and I believe there are many opportunities for him to excel in a stage performance. However, I feel that a silent character may not translate well in dubbing. While in the studio, I couldn't help but think, "I'm sorry, but this doesn't quite work for today either."

The second season of The Dangers in My Heart is directed by Hiroaki Akagi at Shin-Ei Animation Studios, with Jukki Hanada serving as the series composer. Masato Katsumata has contributed as the character designer, and Kensuke Ushio has created the series' music.
