Rebel Moon: Part Two Teasers
Rebel Moon: Part Two - The Scargiver is on the way, and actors are already teasing the movie. The latest Zack Snyder movie, Rebel Moon: Part One sows the early seeds of a rebellion against the mighty space-faring Imperium. The movie was filmed at the same time as Part Two, which will be released on Netflix on April 19, 2024.
The ice lake rebirth womb in Rebel Moon
As the wait begins for Rebel Moon: Part Two, its stars are already hoping to build anticipation for the upcoming sequel. Ray Fisher, who played Darrian Bloodaxe, spoke with Digital Spy about what the movie would be like. Though Bloodaxe is dead and will likely not take part in the movie, Fisher still has insight into the production. He expects an action-packed movie filled with character development.
More action, wild battles, and a lot more of an intimate look at all the characters that you get to get a taste of in Part One.
What to Expect in Rebel Moon: Part 2
Because they were filmed back-to-back, the Rebel Moon: Part One ending leads directly to Rebel Moon: Part 2. Kora (Sofia Boutella) will need to lead her rebellion against the Imperium, even after surviving the shocking betrayal of Kai (Charlie Hunnam). The Imperium remains the franchise's overarching threat, so the sequel will need to provide at least some semblance of a resolution to Kora's rebellion. That, in itself, explains why there is so much action in the upcoming movie.
Alongside Kira, other actors will be returning for the sequel. Cleopatra Coleman (Devra Bloodaxe), Djimon Hounsou (Titus), Michiel Huisman (Gunnar), Staz Nair (Tarak), Fra Fee (Balisarius), and Ed Skrein (Noble) are all expected to reprise their roles. More characters should also be revealed as the rebels take their fight to the Imperium. With a Motherworld filled with enemies on a far-off horizon, there will be many more enemies to find and fight.
While Netflix has high hopes for Rebel Moon, it is currently the subject of sharp criticism, having earned a Rotten Tomatoes Tomatometer score of only 23 percent.
The Future of Rebel Moon: Part 2
Additional insight into the movie will likely come with time. Though a trailer could very well be on the way, it is unlikely. The original Rebel Moon trailer was made to cover Part One and Part Two and revealed the release dates for both movies. With the second movie only a few months away, another trailer is possible, but any major reveals will likely be held back for the actual release. Still, more details about Rebel Moon: Part Two - The Scargiver are sure to come.
