Where was Reacher Season 2 filmed, considering its titular protagonist's travels from Arkansas to New York? In Season 1, the show focused on Margrave, Georgia, with occasional visits to places like Atlanta, Georgia, and Memphis, Tennessee.
The first season of the crime-thriller show Reacher was not filmed in Georgia or anywhere else in the US. Instead, all of Season 1’s studio and location shooting took place in Canada. Now, let's find out where principal photography on Reacher Season 2 took place!
Reacher Season 2 filming locations
The filming of Reacher Season 2 took place in Ontario, Canada, with Toronto, the capital city of the province, prominently featuring signage displaying the production’s working title, “Chimp,” during the shoot from September 2022 to February 2023.

In another city in Ontario, Brampton also displayed similar signs. Filming took place in downtown Brampton for approximately one week in early November 2022. This particular part of the Reacher Season 2 production appeared to be limited to a single street within a predominantly low-rise area. Additionally, photos of Ritchson and co-star Shaun Sipos at Toronto’s Hendricks Restaurant emerged online around the same time. As the scene does not correspond to any from Episodes 1-3, the restaurant’s fictional location within the series remains ambiguous at this time.

How does Reacher Season 2 tie into Season 1?
Since both seasons of Reacher were filmed in the same area, there may be questions about how much of the storyline overlaps between Seasons 1 and 2. However, the latest episodes do not revisit Margrave. Similar to the Lee Child novel "Bad Luck and Trouble," which serves as the basis for the show, Reacher Season 2 has minimal connections to the events in Margrave. The only significant references to Season 1 are the reappearance of Maria Sten's Frances Neagley and a dialogue that confirms the passage of time since Season 1.
Roscoe Conklin, Reacher's Season 1 love interest, will not be making an appearance in Season 2, as confirmed by Willa Fitzgerald. You can now stream Reacher Season 2 Episodes 1-3 on Prime Video. Sign up here to watch, and browse our other Reacher coverage below.

As an enthusiastic fan of the Reacher series, I am thrilled to learn about the filming locations for Season 2. The fact that the show was filmed in Ontario, Canada, instead of the United States, adds an interesting twist to the production. It's exciting to imagine the transformation of these Canadian cities into the fictional settings of the show. The attention to detail in recreating the atmosphere of the story is truly commendable.
The news that Season 2 has minimal connections to the events in Margrave, Georgia, from Season 1, piques my curiosity even more. While it's a bit disappointing not to see more of the familiar locations from the first season, I trust that the writers have crafted a compelling storyline that will keep us engaged. The reappearance of Frances Neagley and the subtle references to the passage of time add intriguing layers to the narrative. I can't wait to delve into the new episodes and discover the captivating journey that Reacher embarks on in Season 2.
