With the cameras scheduled to begin rolling soon, Raquel Leviss' fate on Vanderpump Rules remains unknown as the aftermath of her affair with fellow cast member Tom Sandoval lingers.
According to an exclusive source, there are discussions underway regarding Raquel's potential return for the next season of Vanderpump Rules. However, she has not yet made a decision on whether she wishes to come back to the show. The source revealed that Raquel, a former pageant queen aged 28, is still receiving treatment at a mental health facility, which remains her main focus. The source emphasized that while negotiations are ongoing for her return to the Bravo reality series, no confirmations have been made.
Raquel faced significant backlash from both fans of Pump Rules and fellow cast members when news of her months-long affair with Sandoval came to light in March. In fact, it was confirmed by Us at the time that Ariana Madix and the TomTom cofounder ended their nine-year relationship because of this cheating scandal.
Following the intense confrontation with her costars during part 3 of the Pump Rules season 10 reunion, which was filmed in March and aired earlier this month, Raquel made the decision to prioritize her mental well-being by stepping away from the public eye.
“Prior to their relationship being revealed, Raquel and her family made the decision for her to seek voluntary mental health counseling at a facility," a representative for Raquel said in a statement to Us in April. "Raquel had initially planned to admit herself before the taping of the VPR reunion on March 23. However, she ultimately chose to fulfill her filming commitment before entering the facility. Bravo and the production team were aware of her decision and fully supportive of her journey towards improved mental well-being."
Despite expressing their love for each other during the reunion, both Raquel and Sandoval have avoided defining their relationship.
Raquel expressed her need to heal and emphasized that she didn't want to predict or classify their relationship in an Instagram post in March. Similarly, the Schwartz & Sandy's entrepreneur, during an appearance on the "Howie Mandel Does Stuff" podcast in April, echoed the sentiment by stating that they were great friends and were not defining their connection.
Content: Charli Burnett expressed her hesitation about returning to Pump Rules after the departure of Raquel and Sandoval. In an interview with Rolling Stone, she mentioned feeling upset and stated that filming the next season would be awkward and stressful due to the ongoing situation.
Raquel is currently staying at a treatment facility, but some cast members are preparing to resume filming for season 11 on Wednesday, June 28. Lala Kent expressed anxiety about the show starting again, noting that there is usually more time to process and adapt to changes, but this time it's different.
Vanderpump Rules also stars Katie Maloney, Tom Schwartz, Scheana Shay, James Kennedy and Lisa Vanderpump.
