Unfortunately, Bridgerton fails to rectify the greatest flaw from the books: Daphne's act of sexual assault against Simon. Despite Daphne possessing numerous positive qualities, her character has become almost beyond redemption. Although Simon may have pardoned her, viewers have not.

Anthony may be the head of the Bridgerton household, but his snobby demeanor is certainly not warranted. While he takes his responsibilities seriously, it becomes wearisome to witness his constant self-sacrificing tendencies in Bridgerton season 2. Although Anthony's behavior can be attributed to the norms of his time, his holier-than-thou attitude and disregard for others' opinions remains exasperating. Thankfully, Anthony now has Kate by his side, a wife who truly loves and values him. With her influence, we can hope to see a more carefree and relaxed side of Anthony in Bridgerton season 3.

Colin Bridgerton is a kind-hearted individual, but he could benefit from being more assertive. Throughout seasons 1 and 2 of Bridgerton, Colin appears to be lost and unsure of his path, investing in ventures he knows little about, going on trips to escape societal pressures, and falling head over heels for women without truly getting to know them. Although Colin hasn't necessarily done anything wrong, he remains an enigma. Moreover, Colin has been caught speaking ill of his friend Penelope behind her back, seemingly without remorse. This behavior does nothing to enhance his likability.

7. Francesca Bridgerton (Hannah Dodd/Ruby Stokes)

Francesca Bridgerton's character in Bridgerton has failed to elicit a strong reaction from viewers, whether it be love or hate. However, with the recasting of Hannah Dodd as Francesca in Season 3, following the departure of Ruby Stokes, there may be an opportunity for the character to finally shine in her own standalone storylines.
