Rangers are set to face Servette FC in the third qualifying round of the Champions League following the Swiss team's victory over Genk in a penalty shoot-out.
To kickstart the 2023/24 Scottish Premiership season, Michael Beale's team will head to Rugby Park to go up against Kilmarnock. This match will be broadcast live on We.
Rangers will play their first leg against Servette on August 9, with a home match against Livingston in between before the return tie on August 15. If Rangers advance to the play-off round, the first leg will be scheduled for either August 22 or 23, followed by the second leg on August 29 or 30.
Speaking to We News about the significance of securing a spot in the Champions League, Beale emphasized that playing in this tournament is the ultimate goal for players and a coveted achievement in football.
"It holds great importance. Over the past few years, our performance in Europe has been exceptional, particularly considering our starting point in the Europa League back in 2018."
Last season's qualification for the Champions League was a remarkable feat, despite not meeting everyone's expectations. However, this year presents a fresh chance for success.
It is unlikely that anyone desires to visit Ibrox, recognizing the formidable challenge it poses in securing another qualification.
