Michael Beale made it clear that his Rangers team had traveled to Switzerland with the intention of attacking Servette on Tuesday, rather than just relying on their first leg lead. Despite scoring two early goals at Ibrox, giving Rangers a 2-1 advantage in the third qualifying round of the Champions League, they were left disappointed as they conceded a penalty and failed to score against 10 players after Servette received a red card in the 59th minute.
Servette have managed to secure a draw in all three of their home games this season, with one of those draws being against Genk in the second round. Furthermore, they only suffered a single defeat at the Stade de Geneve in the Swiss Super League last season. Nonetheless, Beale is determined to achieve a victory in the second leg on Tuesday evening in order to leave no room for speculation regarding Rangers' advancement.
The winners of the match will face either PSV Eindhoven or Sturm Graz in the play-off round. PSV Eindhoven currently has a 4-1 advantage at the halfway stage. On the other hand, the losers will directly enter the Europa League group stage. Beale emphasized the importance of winning this game, stating that despite their previous advantage, it is crucial to start fresh and secure another victory to ensure their progression.

Rangers' midfielder, John Lundstram, will be absent for the second leg match. Lundstram won't be joining the team in Geneva due to personal matters. However, Connor Goldson and Ryan Jack have returned to the squad after being given a rest during Saturday's impressive 4-0 victory against Livingston.
Beale denied any interest in the Bristol City defender Zak Vyner, previously associated with Aberdeen, and refuted claims that Glen Kamara would be joining Leeds, stating, "There is currently no truth to those reports."
