Rachel “Raquel” Leviss, a former cast member of Vanderpump Rules, is still prioritizing her health a year after her relationship with ex-costar Tom Sandoval became public.
At the iHeartRadio Music Awards on Monday, April 1, Leviss, 29, shared with E! News that she is nearing her one-year milestone of sobriety. She expressed her excitement about reaching this significant achievement and her pride in the progress she has made.
Leviss has been staying active to keep her mind busy and prevent it from spinning. She is also being mindful of her social media use by unfollowing accounts, except for a few that align with her views so she can feel heard.
Another way Leviss is reclaiming her power is through her podcast, "Rachel Goes Rogue," which she started after leaving Vanderpump Rules due to the drama with Scandoval.
"I'm just sharing what I've learned about myself on this journey," she mentioned. "And hopefully, I can help others who have experienced abusive relationships or toxic friendships and can relate to what I'm saying."
Looking towards the future, Leviss had a close call with her past at the iHeartRadio Music Awards when Katie Maloney, her former costar, also showed up. Luckily, they narrowly missed an awkward reunion at the event in Los Angeles as they were not seen close to each other.

Leviss decided to leave Bravo after the conclusion of season 10 of Pump Rules. The season was prolonged due to the news of Leviss’ affair with Sandoval, which made headlines in March 2023. This scandal led to the end of Sandoval’s nine-year relationship with Ariana Madix. Initially, Leviss and Sandoval tried to work through the situation, but Leviss eventually ended the relationship after spending 90 days in a mental health facility.
Both Sandoval and Leviss have shared their thoughts on the matter, as well as the rest of the Vanderpump Rules cast when Sandoval and Madix returned for season 11. Lala Kent even accused Sandoval of manipulating Leviss during their quick romance, sparking further controversy.
Kent, 33, remembered feeling triggered when Leviss said during the season 10 reunion, "If I don't agree with Sandoval, then I have nobody." Kent felt that Leviss was isolating, grooming, and lying. Kent expressed that she found Leviss scary and did not want to associate with her.
In a March episode of her podcast, Leviss brought up Kent's quotes from the reunion.
Leviss opened up about her ex, admitting that she felt groomed because she was vulnerable after a toxic relationship with James Kennedy. The shift in their dynamic began at Coachella, where he showed extra care and attention towards her.
