How to Complete the “Carving Pumpkins” Story Quest

Caroline sends the player a letter on Fall 19, Year 1, asking them to bring a Pumpkin from the farm. She plans to carve pumpkins with her daughter, Abigail, in preparation for Spirit’s Eve. This will initiate the "Carving Pumpkins" Story Quest.

Pumpkins, a popular vegetable crop in Stardew Valley, can be grown on the player's farm. Their hollow shell makes them perfect for carving into festive decorations. To grow pumpkins, players need Pumpkin Seeds.

Pumpkin Seeds can be acquired at Pierre’s General Store for a price of 100 g, while JojaMart offers them at a slightly higher cost of 125 g. Pumpkin Seeds require planting during the Fall season and undergo a growth period of 13 days until they reach maturity.
