The previous year was tough for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, featuring controversy and challenges with their ventures and public image. However, the year 2024 seems to be starting well for them, as Harry scored a significant legal win against British newspapers and their marriage appears resilient despite the difficulties. They are also receiving lucrative business opportunities.
One insider reveals that Harry and Meghan are in high demand, with requests for speaking engagements, business partnerships, and entertainment opportunities. They are considering a move from Montecito to Los Angeles to be closer to the Hollywood scene. Another source shares that the couple sees 2024 as a year of redemption. Meghan's team has been declining numerous offers, surprised by her popularity and receiving interest in potential media deals.
According to the second source, Meghan is being courted for various opportunities in the film industry as well as multimillion-dollar endorsement deals with fashion and beauty brands. However, her main focus continues to be on philanthropy and giving back. In 2020, Harry, 39, and Meghan, 42, established the Archewell Foundation with a goal of driving cultural change. The source reveals that Meghan is currently "laser-focused" on the foundation, ensuring that "everything she considers must fall in line with an Archewell initiative." On December 11, the foundation announced the launch of the Welcome Project by Meghan, which aims to support "women-led programming for recently resettled Afghan women."

It is rumored that she is considering reviving her lifestyle blog, The Tig, which she operated before marrying Harry in 2018. Talks about the blog's revival are ongoing, and the plan is to relaunch it "bigger and better" than before, according to sources. Additionally, there is a possibility of her returning to acting, with the recent popularity of Suits on Netflix sparking discussions of a potential reunion similar to the 2021 Friends special.
“Meghan has not confirmed any plans to revisit the series, but there is optimism that a return could be possible if the timing is right,” says one source. Another adds, “Meghan would be open to considering it. There have been preliminary discussions.”
However, the source notes that Meghan's current focus is on directing and working behind the scenes. In 2020, she and Harry signed a $100 million deal with Netflix. Their production company, Archewell, has already released the Netflix docuseries, Harry & Meghan, and Harry’s Heart of Invictus series. In addition, they recently acquired the rights to the bestselling novel Meet Me at the Lake, with plans to adapt it for the streaming platform. "I can’t imagine a more perfect partnership," said the book’s author, Carley Fortune, in response to the news.

Harry is just as occupied as his spouse with another upcoming book. In 2021, he inked a four-book agreement with Penguin Random House, the same publisher of Spare. A second source affirms, "He still has so much more to express," and clarifies that, despite Spare setting first-day nonfiction sales records for the publishing company, Harry has no desire to pen another tell-all.
"Harry and Meghan are seeking to chart a new course. They have expressed their thoughts on the royal family and are ready to move forward," stated the second source. "They are determined to move on."

They are both carefully selecting what they agree to. The first source says, "Many people think that Harry and Meghan have been rejected in the entertainment industry, but they consider it as choosing quality over quantity instead of accepting every opportunity."
They have handled the setbacks calmly. The second source says, "Harry and Meghan think that everything related to them is exaggerated. They try not to let the criticism impact their lives." According to the source, the criticism has only strengthened their relationship: "They are more united than ever."
When not working, they enjoy spending date nights at their $14 million Montecito home and being hands-on parents to Archie, 4, and Lilibet, 2. "They try not to rely too heavily on nannies," says the first source. "Harry and Meghan spend plenty of time outdoors, hiking with the dogs or playing soccer with the kids. They also like to host dinner parties at the house and just relax while binge-watching shows."
The couple plans to celebrate Christmas at their Montecito home with friends and Meghan’s mom, Doria. According to the first source, they will be cooking, playing games, and exchanging gifts. "They have a hard time not spoiling the kids too much!" (Meghan recently shared during an event that despite Archie’s request for an expensive camera, he won't be receiving pricey photography equipment for Christmas.)

Meanwhile, in the U.K., Kate and William will visit the royal family's Sandringham country estate with their three children for traditional festivities alongside King Charles III and the rest of the family.
As reported previously, Harry and Meghan wished King Charles a happy birthday in mid-November, but sources indicate that Harry's relationship with other royals, including Prince William and Princess Kate, remains strained. "There's no communication," says the second source. According to the first source, Harry "was glad to reconnect with his father, and he and Meghan hope to have more contact with the royal family in 2024. They are hopeful that time will heal things."
