Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's upcoming Netflix projects have been announced. The couple, aged 39 and 42, are working on two nonfiction series. Meghan will be featured in the first series, showcasing her love for cooking, gardening, entertaining, and friendship. The second series will explore the world of professional polo, with scenes filmed at the U.S. Open Polo Championship. While Harry has been playing polo as an amateur for years, it is uncertain if he will be seen participating in the series.

Harry and Meghan will executive produce two upcoming shows, which are currently untitled and do not have release dates. The couple signed a multi-year deal with Netflix in September 2020, after stepping down from their roles as senior working royals. As part of their agreement, Harry and Meghan aim to create original content that "informs but also gives hope" through their Archewell Productions umbrella.

Harry and Meghan teamed up with Netflix for their first project, a six-part docuseries called Harry & Meghan, which was released in December 2022. In the series, the couple shared their insights on being part of the British royal family and explained their reasons for leaving and relocating to California.

Harry and Meghan collaborated on producing the documentary "Heart of Invictus" for the 2023 Invictus Games, which is dedicated to wounded veterans. Additionally, they are working on turning Carley Fortune's romance novel "Meet Me at the Lake" into a film.

During the New on Netflix press event in January, Bela Bajaria, the streaming platform’s chief content officer, mentioned that they are collaborating with Brandon Reigg, Netflix’s VP of Unscripted and Documentary, on a few unscripted projects. She also noted that there are several projects in the early stages of development, including a movie, a TV show, and a couple of unscripted shows. Bajaria expressed excitement about the movie, describing it as "great."

Meghan was involved in executive producing an animated children’s series called Pearl with David Furnish. Unfortunately, the show, which centered around an adventurous little girl, was canceled in 2022.

According to a source, the Netflix deal is seen as Harry and Meghan’s return to Hollywood.

Meghan is more interested in directing and being behind the camera, according to a source who spoke exclusively to Us in December 2023. The duchess has not ruled out the possibility of returning to her roots on Suits. She has kept quiet about the idea of revisiting the series, but there is hope that something can be worked out if the timing is right.

Meghan became famous for her role as Rachel Zane, a paralegal who became an attorney, on the USA Network's Suits from 2011 to 2018. She left the show before her royal wedding with Harry. A spinoff of Suits is currently in the works for NBC, set in Los Angeles with a new cast.
