Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson attended the royal family's Easter Mattins service together. They were seen outside St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle on March 31st.

Andrew, 64, was dressed in a black morning suit paired with a pale green tie. Ferguson, also 64, matched his outfit by wearing an emerald tweed dress that stood out against her black, embroidered headband.

After the service, Andrew's exes were spotted leaving the chapel with his older sister, Princess Anne, and her husband, Sir Tim Laurence. Also in attendance were Andrew's brothers, King Charles III and Prince Edward, along with their wives, Queen Camilla and Duchess Sophie. Both Charles, 75, and Ferguson are currently undergoing treatment for different types of cancer, and this Easter event marked their first public appearance since starting their treatments. (Charles had previously held a few audiences at the palace earlier this month.)

This Sunday outing was a rare royal appearance for Andrew, who had his "HRH" honorific stripped in 2022 following a sexual assault lawsuit. He had been accused of misconduct by Virginia Giuffre in late 2019.

Andrew decided to step away from his royal responsibilities and charities during the scandal. He later denied the allegations, stating, "I have no memory of ever meeting this woman, none at all. It simply did not occur."

Giuffre filed a lawsuit against Andrew in August 2021, accusing him of raping and sexually abusing her when she was 17 years old. Despite denying the allegations, Andrew chose to settle the case out of court for an undisclosed amount.

After the scandal, Andrew rarely appeared in public, only attending the funerals of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip in 2021 and 2022, as well as Charles' coronation in May 2023.

Following her divorce from Andrew in 1996, Ferguson lost many of her royal connections. She was not invited to Charles' coronation, but she did attend the celebratory concert at Buckingham Palace later that weekend.

Ferguson, who has daughters Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie with Andrew, shared her thoughts on the U.K.'s Loose Woman ahead of the crowning ceremony. She expressed that you can't have it both ways - being divorced and still wanting to be fully involved. She mentioned her plans of enjoying a tea room, coronation chicken sandwich, and putting up bunting during the event.

Despite their divorce, Ferguson and Andrew continue to reside together in the Royal Lodge in Windsor. They are both taking care of the late queen's beloved corgis. In addition to the corgis, Ferguson also has five other dogs who have become part of the pack since joining in September 2022.

Editor's P/S:

The public appearance of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson at the royal family's Easter Mattins service has stirred mixed emotions. While some view it as a sign of forgiveness and reconciliation, others remain critical of Andrew's alleged past actions. The scandal surrounding the sexual assault allegations against Andrew has undoubtedly tarnished his reputation and raised questions about his suitability for public life. However, it is important to note that Andrew has denied the allegations and has not been convicted of any wrongdoing.

Ferguson's continued presence in Andrew's life despite their divorce speaks to the complex nature of their relationship. Despite the public scrutiny they have faced, they have maintained a close bond and continue to reside together. Ferguson's remarks about not being able to have it both ways, being divorced and still wanting to be fully involved, highlight the challenges that divorced individuals may face when navigating their relationship with the royal family. Nonetheless, their attendance at the Easter service suggests that they have found a way to move forward and support each other despite the controversy that surrounds Andrew.
