The 2023 Christmas card of Prince William and Princess Kate Middleton was revealed on Saturday, December 9, featuring their three children who appear to be all grown up.

Photographer Josh Shinner captured a beautiful black and white portrait of William and Kate, both 41, together with their three children. In the photo, 10-year-old Prince George stands next to his mother, while 5-year-old Prince Louis is pictured with his father. 8-year-old Princess Charlotte is seated in the center. The family is dressed in matching outfits, with everyone wearing crisp button-down shirts paired with jeans. Even Charlotte and Louis wear matching slip-on sneakers. The official Instagram post by the Prince and Princess of Wales included the caption "Our family Christmas card for 2023 ️."

The 2022 Christmas card is a departure from last year's vibrant summer family portrait, showing them walking down a tree-lined path hand-in-hand. This year, the family opted for coordinated blue outfits.

In addition, King Charles III and Queen Camilla released their Christmas card featuring a photo of the couple wearing full coronation regalia. The card includes the message, "Wishing you a very Happy Christmas and New Year."

“ The Throne Room at Buckingham Palace on Coronation Day is the backdrop for this year’s official Christmas card, which showcases a photograph of The King and Queen captured by Hugo Burnand,” the royal family’s official Instagram caption stated.

The holiday cards were sent out just a day after the royals came together for the annual Together at Christmas carol service at London's Westminster Abbey. Hosted by Kate, the event aims to unite British locals during the holiday season and recognize individuals who have made significant contributions to the community.

In attendance were Kate's sister, Pippa Middleton, and her husband James Matthews, as well as several of William's extended family members. Sophie, the Duchess of Edinburgh, Prince Michael of Kent, and Lady Gabriella Kingston were also present, along with Peter Phillips, who was accompanied by his sister Zara Tindall and his daughters, Savannah and Isla. Princess Beatrice was accompanied by her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, and they brought his 7-year-old stepson, Wolfie.

Despite the absence of the king and queen at the concert, it is anticipated that William and Kate will be joining Charles and Camilla for Christmas at Sandringham Estate. The royal family typically participates in the December 25 church service at St Mary Magdalene Church and takes a walk to greet well-wishers before the service.

In December of last year, an insider shared exclusively with We that Charles is equally focused on introducing new, modern traditions and his own ideas as the family enters a new era. Despite this, he still places importance on family, as evidenced by his invitations to his 2022 celebration extended to sister Princess Anne, brother Prince Edward and his wife Sophie, and even his scandal-plagued brother Prince Andrew.

Prince Harry and wife Meghan Markle, however, did not attend amid their estrangement from the royal family. It is expected that they will spend the holidays in the U.S. again in 2023.
