Post Malone got engaged to his fiancée, but he had to ask her twice. The rapper revealed that he proposed to his girlfriend, whose name is unknown, around two years ago in Las Vegas. During a visit to a casino, Malone lost a substantial amount of money, and in a heavily intoxicated state, he asked his girlfriend to marry him. He shared these details during an episode of Alex Cooper's "Call Her Daddy" podcast on Wednesday, August 2.
Malone, also known by his real name Austin Post, made the decision to propose at that moment, but unfortunately, his girlfriend was not impressed by his approach. He described the encounter, saying, "I said, 'Hey, would you marry me? I have a ring and everything,' and her response was a no."
Despite the rejection, Malone's girlfriend was open to him trying again. He shared, "She told me, 'Ask me again tomorrow,' and that's exactly what I did. This time, I was clear-headed and it turned out to be a lovely moment."

Malone admitted that his now-fiancée made the right decision by rejecting his proposal while he was intoxicated. In a light-hearted manner, he joked about his own lack of romantic skills.
While Malone has been private about his personal life in the past, he announced in May 2022 that he and his girlfriend at the time were anticipating the arrival of their first child. Just one month later, he confirmed the birth of their daughter and shared the news of his engagement.
Malone confirmed on Wednesday that he and his partner are still unmarried even though they got engaged in Las Vegas. However, he already has plans on how to commemorate their future marriage.
"I envision an ice luge for drinks that keeps flowing smoothly," he told Cooper, 28. "Beer will continuously fill it, and all my friends are fully supportive, so they will gladly partake in the never-ending supply of refreshment. Hopefully, everyone will showcase their impressive dance moves and keep the celebration lively."

Regarding the decor, Malone playfully mentioned that there would be ample use of camouflage, even including a camouflage suit that he already possesses. (This suit is a perfect match to the camouflage Crocs he sported during the interview.)
Moving on to a more sincere topic, Malone expressed his certainty in recognizing his fiancée as "The One" from the very beginning. He emphasized her immense capacity for compassion, stating, "Her heart is truly extraordinary. I've always desired a large family and I could sense that she would be an exceptional mother. In fact, she's the best mom in the entire universe."
Fans shouldn't get too excited about the prospect of Malone releasing love songs. Although he has written some dedicated to his fiancée, he has no intentions of including them in his upcoming album or sharing them with his future wife. He clarified that he refrains from playing these songs for her due to his extreme shyness.
