Reddit user PokeWelder-Zach posted a picture of their latest creation: a sculpture of Lapras made out of painted bike chains. Though the material they used is certainly not what one would come to expect from traditional sculptures, with their skills, they've managed to make the bike chains look like the Loch Ness monster-inspired seafaring Pokemon. From Lapras's dinosaur-like head to the front and rear fins, and even to the shell on its back, the bike chain sculpture is surprisingly accurate.
PokeWelder-Zach has been getting some buzz lately for their creative sculptures. They've built other Pokemon art out of bike chains, and a quick trip to their Ko-fi page shows that they also use other materials to create sculptures. They recently posted an Alakazam created out of the parts of an elliptical machine, showcasing a penchant for seeing artistic possibilities out of seemingly ordinary objects.
