Currently in early access on Steam and receiving rave reviews, the upcoming Ascension update will introduce new equipment, a revamped leveling system, and more. This highly anticipated update has been eagerly awaited by Phasmophobia fans.
Launched on September 18, 2020, Phasmophobia initially gained massive success with over 112,000 concurrent players. While its player base has fluctuated with each update, it still maintains a peak of around 22,000 concurrent players daily. Despite the original plan for a full launch by now, Kinetic Games' ambition has grown alongside the game's success.
Phasmophobia's largest update to date is set to launch on August 17. Kinetic announced the release date for the Ascension update through their social media accounts and Steam profile for Phasmophobia. While little information was provided, it did mention the addition of "new equipment, the new leveling system, and more," without further details. Therefore, the specific additions to Phasmophobia tomorrow remain unclear.
In the past several weeks, Kinetic has shared previews and hints about what players can expect.
