Phaedra initially recruited Kate after Traitors Dan Gheesling and Parvati Shallow were banished. However, Kate turned on Phaedra when she felt threatened, voting to banish Phaedra instead. Phaedra felt that Kate was more focused on saving herself rather than playing fairly.
