Payday 3 Dev's CEO Expressed Profound Apologies for Turbulent Launch, but the Best is Yet to Come!

Payday 3 Dev's CEO apologizes for unstable launch of online shooter plagued by server issues, assuring fans that the problems have been addressed and resolved

The launch of Payday 3 had several problems when playing with friends, as server issues affected the shooter game on September 21. Consequently, Tobias Sjögren, the CEO of Starbreeze, apologized on social media.

Sjögren tweeted/expressed on Twitter/X: "We deeply apologize for the unexpected infrastructure failure, and while it's impossible to anticipate every situation—we can definitely strive for improvement." As mentioned by the official Payday 3 Twitter/X account, the online shooter experienced "slow matchmaking" during the entire launch day and even became inaccessible at one point.

Starbreeze confidently stated earlier today that they are making a strong comeback. In Payday 3, players collaborate to carry out heists in the bustling city of New York. This highly anticipated game has been released on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, and was even available on Xbox Game Pass from day one. Just before its release, Starbreeze made the significant decision to remove the anti-piracy Denuvo DRM for Payday 3.

Looking ahead, Starbreeze has ambitious plans for Payday 3. They have already announced four post-launch DLCs, with the first one, titled "Syntax Error," set to be released this winter. Additionally, the developer aims to introduce seasonal events, new characters, and exciting updates to the game in the future.
