Starring Joshua Jackson and Lizzy Caplan, the show presented a contemporary take on the original but failed to resonate with viewers. The decision to cancel the series is part of Paramount+'s ongoing strategy to eliminate content for tax purposes.

Paramount+ Has Been on a Cost Cutting Spree

With the ever-changing landscape of the entertainment industry, various streaming platforms and studios are constantly reassessing their businesses. Since February of this year, Paramount+ has been removing titles from its lineup. Shows like Real World: Homecoming, The Twilight Zone, Interrogation, Coyote, and more have all been taken off the streaming platform. In June, Paramount+ also decided to cancel Star Trek: Prodigy, Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies, Queen of the Universe, and several other shows. Additionally, earlier this month, the platform made the decision to end the iCarly revival after its third season. Recently, Paramount+ also announced the cancellation of Rabbit Hole Season 2 and Fatal Attraction.
