A Patronus in Hogwarts Legacy is a mystical and almost spiritual force that takes the form of an animal. It can be obtained by mastering the Patronus Charm and is symbolic of positive and joyful memories. Its primary purpose is to ward off Dementors and combat the darkness they bring. In Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Harry successfully used his stag Patronus to protect himself and others from the looming Dementors in the Forbidden Forest.

The Wizarding World site offers a quiz where you can answer several questions to discover the type of Patronus that best represents you. Our result was a cat, because cats are truly amazing. However, it is unfortunate that this particular feature is not available in the current version of Hogwarts Legacy. The developer has stated that there are no plans yet to include the ability to possess a Patronus in the game. Moreover, obtaining the Patronus Charm is not a part of the campaign journey whatsoever.

Some fans may find it disappointing to hear this, particularly given the iconic nature of the magical ability. However, you can still retain your personalized wand and chosen House through the Sorting Hat quiz.

As a Gen Z fan, I am both excited and disappointed by the news regarding the Patronus in Hogwarts Legacy. On one hand, I understand that the developers have made the difficult decision to exclude the Patronus Charm from the game, and I respect their creative vision. On the other hand, I can't help but feel a sense of loss, as the Patronus is such an iconic and beloved aspect of the Harry Potter universe.

Despite this disappointment, I am still very much looking forward to playing Hogwarts Legacy and exploring the magical world of Harry Potter in a new and immersive way. I am confident that the developers have crafted a compelling and engaging experience that will capture the hearts and minds of fans around the world.
