Nobara's Cursed Technique Unleashed: Revealing How She Injured Mahito in Jujutsu Kaisen

Nobara Kugisaki unleashes a devastating attack on Mahito in the latest episode of Jujutsu Kaisen Curious about how she inflicted such damage? Find out here!

In the most recent episode of the second season of the television anime series Jujutsu Kaisen, fans witnessed the ongoing battle between Nobara Kugisaki and one of Mahito's two bodies. Specifically, Kugisaki was revealed to be facing off against Mahito's duplicate, while series protagonist Yuji Itadori continued to fight against Mahito's primary body.

While many Jujutsu Kaisen fans admired Nobara's bravery in taking on such a formidable foe, almost every viewer doubted her ability to actually harm Mahito's body. This skepticism arises from the fact that conventional techniques are ineffective against Mahito's soul, leading to the widespread belief that Nobara's attacks would be similarly futile.

Jujutsu Kaisen’s Nobara Kugisaki uses a technique first seen in season 1 to deal severe damage to Mahito

However, the latest episode of Jujutsu Kaisen anime has proven that this is not the case. Nobara has demonstrated her ability to deal severe damage to Mahito, thanks to a unique aspect of her Technique. While some fans may have been perplexed by this unexpected development and how Nobara managed to harm Mahito, there is a relatively simple explanation for her success.

How did Nobara injure Mahito? Explained

Nobara Kugisaki's Cursed Technique in Jujutsu Kaisen is called the Straw Doll Technique, where she employs sorcery with a hammer, nails, and a straw doll. By channeling her Cursed Energy through these tools, Nobara can execute various techniques, including distributing damage between her straw doll and her target.

A specific application of her Cursed Energy is the Resonance attack, in which Nobara uses a straw doll as an effigy to apply her Cursed Energy to the target, or uses a severed body part of the target to establish a connection, attacking more vulnerable areas of the target's body.

Nobara can utilize her Cursed Technique through the use of a Hairpin, enabling her to infuse her nails with explosive energy to create powerful area-of-effect weapons with an extended reach. In addition, when combined with Resonance, they can be used to set up the latter move against more formidable Cursed Spirits.

The activation of Resonance in any of the cases mentioned above results in the emergence of large, black, nail-like spikes from the target's body, as demonstrated in the most recent episode of Jujutsu Kaisen. For instance, when dealing with Mahito's double, Nobara employed the double's body as a representation for Resonance, driving a nail into its forehead to enable a direct attack on Mahito's soul.

By directly targeting Mahito's soul, Nobara was able to also damage his main body, as evidenced by the appearance of black spikes on the main body. In essence, the activation of Resonance against Mahito's double allowed for damage to be inflicted on both his soul and main body, with the resulting harm rebounding back to the double, resulting in severe injuries for both.

As an enthusiastic fan of Jujutsu Kaisen, I was thrilled to see Nobara Kugisaki unleash her devastating attack on Mahito in the latest episode. Her Straw Doll Technique proved to be highly effective against Mahito's soul, despite the fact that conventional techniques are typically useless against him.

Nobara's ability to distribute damage between her straw doll and her target, as well as her Resonance attack, allowed her to inflict severe injuries on both Mahito's double and his main body. This unexpected turn of events showcases Nobara's growth and potential as a jujutsu sorcerer, and I am excited to see how she continues to develop and contribute to the series. Overall, I believe that this episode highlighted Nobara's strength and resourcefulness, and I am eager to see what she accomplishes in future battles.
