"What I was originally meant to do was simply stand in an alternate dimension, so to speak, and witness the destruction of the universe. Kal-El was there to witness the end of an entire universe, and considering the limited time I had, you can imagine the amount of emotion I had to convey. Since I had no dialogue, I had to rely solely on my eyes to express the emotions. That's exactly what I did. I was present on set for about three hours... When I saw the final product, it was me fighting a giant spider. I didn't film any such thing. That was not what I did. I don't think it was generated by AI. I know Tim is disappointed with AI, just like I am. It was CGI, alright, in order to make me look younger, and I was fighting a spider. I had no involvement in any of that, so I'm not sure what happened there."

However, he clarified that it was not produced using AI, despite suggestions from Burton and others.
