John Mayer might not be thrilled to hear that he's back in the gossip spotlight on Vanderpump Rules.

In the latest episode of the Vanderpump Rules season 11 reunion, which aired on Tuesday, May 21, host Andy Cohen questioned newcomer Jo Wenberg about her relationship status following her breakup with Tom Schwartz on the show.

Jo mentioned that she would date Aaron Rodgers, the controversial football player. However, Ariana Madix and Andy, 55, advised Jo to set her sights higher. Ariana expressed her concern about Rodgers being a conspiracy theorist, stating that she didn't think Jo should date him. Andy chimed in, calling Rodgers a "wackadoo."

Scheana Shay, 39, seemed surprised when Jo suggested John, 46, as a potential option. She jokingly mentioned, "Been there, done that," referencing past comments on the show about the singer. Earlier this year, Scheana had brought up her history with John in an episode of the popular Bravo show.

Scheana teased the identity of an A-list celebrity she had a brief romance with, hinting at their time together by saying, "Once upon a time, my body was a wonderland. I’ll say that."

This isn’t the first time Scheana has talked about her short-lived relationship with the celebrity. She mentioned meeting Mayer in 2008 while working as a waitress at the Grand Havana Room in Beverly Hills.

Scheana shared on the "Flashbacks" podcast in 2020 that she was working at a party where she ended up partying with John Mayer and Jennifer Aniston, who had broken up in 2009. She mentioned that every time they took a shot, they would also get her a shot. Jennifer even invited Scheana to join them for an afterparty at her place in the Palisades.

After his breakup with Jennifer Aniston, John Mayer went back to the cigar club and asked for Scheana's phone number.

Scheana mentioned that she got fired because of the situation. She was discussing it at work one day, and another girl overheard. This girl was involved with a married member with four kids, which led to her getting fired. Later, when she found out Scheana was dating John Mayer, she discovered he was a member in New York, not Beverly Hills. They were not allowed to fraternize with members.

When contacted for comment in the past, Mayer has never publicly addressed Scheana's claims.

The third part of the Vanderpump Rules season 11 reunion airs on Bravo Tuesday, May 28, at 8 p.m. ET and is available to stream on Peacock the next day.
