The trailer revealed the anime's release date, additional cast members, and the theme songs. Produced by Studio Bones, the tech-noir anime is scheduled to premiere on January 10, 2024.
In addition to the trailer, the official staff also revealed a new key visual featuring the series' two main characters. Notably, Metallic Rouge is Studio Bones' special project to commemorate the studio's 25th anniversary. The original TV anime was first announced during the Fuji TV Anime Lineup 2023 live stream.
Metallic Rouge anime is set to release on January 10, 2024
The anime Metallic Rouge is set to debut on Fuji TV's +Ultra programming slot on January 10, 2024, as revealed in the official trailer. Crunchyroll will be streaming the series globally, with the exception of Asian regions. There is anticipation for the announcement of whether Ani-One Asia or Muse Asia will also stream the anime.
In addition to the broadcast information, the promotional video also introduced the opening and ending songs of the anime. Japanese pop singer Yu-Ka will perform the opening song "Rouge," while the ending theme "Scarlet" will be sung by DAZBEE.
The trailer still, provided by Studio Bones, offers a glimpse into the intense battle of Rouge and her partner Naomi as Metallic Rouge. The narrator reveals that the two android girls have been selected to eradicate nine artificial humans who pose a threat to the world's government.
The short clip clearly shows Studio Bones' impressive animation of the anime's mecha aspect. In addition to Rouge and Naomi, the trailer also presents the other cast members of the anime.
In addition to the PV, the official staff has also released a new key visual showcasing Rouge Redstar and Naomi Ortmann. The illustration depicts them standing together with a large translucent metallic rouge in the background. The visual also includes a catchphrase that translates to: "We'll do it for the world and the future."

This tech-noir anime is being directed by Motonobu Hori at Studio Bones, with Yutaka Izubuchi serving as the mecha designer. The anime's chief director for Star Blazers 2199 is handling the scripts, while Toshizo Nemoto is responsible for the screenplay.
In addition, Toshihiro Kawamoto is designing the characters, and Taisei Iwasaki is leading the music composition alongside Yuma Yamaguchi and Towa Tei. Along with an impressive staff, this mecha anime also boasts a stellar cast.
The anime features Rouge, who is portrayed by Yume Miyamoto and her partner, Naomi Ortmann, played by Tomoyo Kurosawa. The official staff has also announced the names of the additional cast members.
