Every Game of Thrones Spinoff Reportedly In Development

Game of Thrones scripts are constantly being developed, and we have recently approved the Dunk and Egg project. While there are no other projects in that world that have been given the green light, we are always busy working on various scripts and exploring new ideas.

The Hedge Knight, a Game of Thrones spinoff based on Martin's Dunk and Egg novellas, is the sole project officially greenlit by HBO. Production for the series is scheduled to begin in spring 2024. In addition, there are numerous other spinoff projects reportedly in development, although HBO has not yet acknowledged them. Among these is a highly anticipated sequel series centered around Jon Snow, which would bring back the Game of Thrones cast, notably Kit Harington reprising his role as Jon Snow.

Currently streaming on Max are Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon. Additionally, there are reports of other Game of Thrones spinoffs being developed, such as 10,000 Ships, which would center around Princess Nymeria, and The Sea Snake, which would explore the legendary voyages of Corlys Velaryon.
