New Book Reveals Queen Camilla's Surprising Reaction to Piers Morgan's Controversial Meghan Markle Comment

Queen Camilla reportedly expressed gratitude to Piers Morgan for his controversial remarks about Meghan Markle, as claimed in the book 'Endgame'

Queen Camilla discreetly expressed her gratitude to Piers Morgan for referring to Meghan Markle as a "Pinocchio Princess," as recounted in Omid Scobie's new book, Endgame. Scobie's latest royal biography is set to be released on November 28th and delves into Morgan's history of criticizing Meghan. After Meghan revealed her struggles with suicidal thoughts, Morgan remarked on Good Morning Britain that he "wouldn't believe [Meghan] if she read me a weather report."

Morgan resigned from GMB amidst increasing pressure to apologize following complaints from Meghan and viewers. He then referred to Meghan as a "Princess Pinocchio" in a column for the Daily Mail, comparing her to the Disney character known for dishonesty.

In September 2021, Morgan wrote, "I was recently informed that Meghan Markle directly contacted my ITV boss Dame Carolyn McCall the night before I was forced to leave, demanding my dismissal. It's troubling that an actress with a tendency to be deceitful can have such influence over a morning television news program."

Morgan has continued to call Meghan "Princess Pinocchio" on his X (formerly Twitter) page when talking about the incident.

Scobie reported that Camilla, 76, personally thanked Morgan for "defending the Firm." A palace aide later confirmed to Scobie that Camilla would not address the issue publicly or "speak ill of others."

The royal insider allegedly informed Scobie that there was a sense of "gratitude" for "someone standing up" to Meghan's claims. We have contacted Camilla's representatives for their response to the allegations.

Although Meghan has not responded further to Morgan's comments or her mother-in-law's reported actions, she has been supported by her husband Harry, 39.

“I urged her not to speak in that manner. I assured her that we would overcome it, we would discover a solution. In the meantime, we would seek the assistance she required,” the Duke of Sussex penned in his recently published memoir, Spare, in January. “I implored her to stay strong, to hold on."
