Natalie Portman and Benjamin Millepied have officially split after being married for 11 years, according to confirmation received. Following the revelation of his affair, the couple has been attempting to salvage their relationship but currently find themselves distant, as revealed by insiders to Us.
On their 11th wedding anniversary, which occurred on Friday, August 4, the estranged couple sparked renewed speculation about their relationship status. This speculation arose when Portman was seen without her wedding ring during an Angel City FC event in Sydney, Australia. Adding to the previous rumors that circulated in June, it was rumored that Millepied was involved in an affair with Camille Étienne, a 25-year-old climate activist. Despite these allegations, Portman has reportedly remained dedicated to her marriage.
“Benjamin's affair was a brief and meaningless fling in Natalie's eyes," an exclusive source revealed to Us. The source went on to share that Portman felt "humiliated" by the rumors surrounding the situation. The insider also added that Portman is now willing to give Millepied a chance to rebuild her trust, as she wants to ensure that their children do not grow up in a broken home.

Another insider revealed that Portman was uncertain about the possibility of reconciling with her husband in the aftermath of the scandal. The source mentioned that currently, they are engaging in conversations and efforts to mend their relationship for the sake of their children. Additionally, it was shared that Millepied expresses remorse for his actions. Portman and Millepied initially crossed paths in 2009 during their involvement in Darren Aronofsky's suspenseful film Black Swan, which was released in 2010.
Portman described the movie as a dreamland where she met her husband and learned to dance. Their collaboration continued in the film Vox Lux, where Portman portrayed a pop star named Celeste and Millepied assisted with choreography as a professional ballet dancer.
