Laurence Fishburne’s eldest daughter, Montana Fishburne, has been sentenced to 24 months of probation following a 2022 arrest, We can exclusively confirm.

Montana, who is 32 years old, was arrested in January 2022 by Broward County sheriffs and charged with battery on a law enforcement officer. According to police records in Florida obtained by Us, Montana called 911 to report an ex-boyfriend allegedly stalking and threatening her. When police officers arrived at the reported address, Montana was not at home. Records show that Montana started yelling at the cops from the sidewalk, claiming that no one helped her, and approached them despite being told multiple times to back up. The police report states that she slapped one of the deputies on the side of his head, causing swelling and redness on the officer’s ear.

Montana originally said she didn't do it, but later decided not to fight the charge on April 10.

Montana's lawyer, Michael Grieco, explained, "There is no admission of guilt or conviction. The case will be closed and put behind her. This means young Ms. Fishburne can now focus on moving forward with her life."

Montana's probation will be over once she finishes a 13-week anger management program, according to Grieco.

Montana has a history of getting arrested. In 2017, she was charged with three misdemeanors for driving under the influence and was released the next day after posting a $2,500 bond. Then, in 2020, she was arrested again for DUI in Florida and was released on bond once more.
