In Hogwarts Legacy, players have the opportunity to experience a complete school year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. As time progresses, the seasons change within the Hogwarts environment, resulting in corresponding changes in weather and decorations. Notably, players have been highly impressed by the Halloween and Christmas decorations in Hogwarts Legacy, and as a result, they wish to have the option to preserve these elements even after completing the main content of the game.

Unfortunately, completing the main quest in Hogwarts Legacy means players are confined to the spring season, devoid of any special Hogwarts castle decorations and featuring basic weather. Despite fan requests, the game currently lacks an option to change seasons. Hogwarts Legacy recently reminded fans of this limitation through a tweet showcasing Halloween decorations within the game. To experience Hogwarts during Halloween, players must start a new save file and progress far enough in the story for the holiday to occur.

While this may not be the ideal situation, it appears that Hogwarts Legacy has no plans to introduce a seasonal change feature in the near future. However, on a positive note, the game encourages players to create a character for each Hogwarts House, as each house offers a unique quest. For those who have yet to complete the game, starting anew with a different character and playing up until Halloween could be a way to celebrate the spooky season. Others may want to consider creating multiple save files at the beginning of each holiday celebration to experience Hogwarts at Christmas time as well.
