During a podcast episode of "Good Guys" released on December 19, former iCarly costar Josh Peck asked Miranda Cosgrove if she has ever done anything bad, such as drinking or other vices.
Cosgrove, 30, responded by saying, "I've never been drunk in my life. It's crazy," but added that she is "open to it."
"Someone please get this girl drunk, will you?" Peck joked. "I mean, this poor girl has never had the experience of being drunk."
Cosgrove shared that she hasn't tried alcohol yet because she "truly" doesn't "have a good reason." She confessed, "I've never even been buzzed. I've sipped things before, but, like, two sips."
When it comes to smoking, Cosgrove acknowledged that the same holds true. “I've never smoked anything,” she revealed. “I did try an edible, a brownie, and I ended up sleeping for 17 hours. I woke up feeling incredibly rested.”
Peck inquired if Cosgrove had a "limiting aspect" that prevented her from drinking, to which she confessed that there might be "to some extent." She attributed this to always being the designated driver for her friends, and the comfort and familiarity that came with that role. She expressed her openness to drinking, despite being 30 and still having not done so, stating that she had intended to try it on her birthday.

Cosgrove has once again captured attention for her innocent image. Back in 2022, the former Nickelodeon star created a buzz when she revealed on Whitney Cummings' "Good for You" podcast, "I actually do cuss a little." When Cummings, 41, inquired about Cosgrove's favorite swear word, she admitted, "Probably f–k."
During iCarly's six-season run from September 2007 to November 2012, Cosgrove portrayed Carly Shay. In a September 2022 episode of the "Reign With Josh Smith" podcast, she spoke about the pressure she experienced as a child star, noting the challenges of growing up in the public eye.

Growing up in the spotlight meant that she had a delayed experience of a normal teenage life. When she was younger, her co-writers would ask about her dating experiences, but she didn't have any crazy stories because she missed out on a real high school or middle school experience.
