Mind-Blowing Pokemon Fan Unveils Epic Transformations for Generation 2 Starters!

A talented Pokemon fan showcases their creative prowess by envisioning stunning Tera forms for the iconic Generation 2 starters from Pokemon Gold and Silver Explore their awe-inspiring original designs in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

Highlights

A Pokemon fan shared their original designs for Tera forms of the Generation 2 starters Chikorita, Cyndaquil, and Totodile.

In Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, players have the ability to utilize Tera Orbs for terastallization, an action that allows them to temporarily modify the type and appearance of their Pokemon. The inclusion of the Terastral phenomenon, alongside Tera-type Pokemon, introduces fresh obstacles and battles, ensuring an enhanced gaming experience for players.

An imaginative Pokemon enthusiast has creatively designed unique Tera forms for the Generation 2 starter Pokemon - Chikorita, Cyndaquil, and Totodile. In the upcoming Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC titled The Indigo Disk, devoted fans will have the opportunity to capture these cherished starters, alongside a plethora of new Pokemon.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet focuses on the captivating Terastral phenomenon, which plays a significant role in unveiling the mysteries of Area Zero. As a Pokemon Trainer, players will have the ability to utilize Tera Orbs to terastallize and modify their Pokemon. Terastallizing a Pokemon results in a transformation of its type and grants the creature a radiant, jewel-like appearance for a limited duration. The Terastral phenomenon dissipates once a battle concludes or the Pokemon is defeated, allowing players to test their skills against formidable Tera-type Pokemon in exhilarating Tera raid battles.

The player known as Colmlukas in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet has created unique designs for the "Tera evolution" forms of the Generation 2 starters Chikorita, Cyndaquil, and Totodile. These Tera evolution forms show the starters evolving while Terastallizing, resulting in them gaining immense power beyond their regular evolutions into Meganium, Typhlosion, and Feraligatr from Pokemon Gold and Silver. It seems that Colmlukas took inspiration from Terapagos, a mysterious Pokemon featured in the Pokemon Horizons anime. Terapagos is one of the new Pokemon introduced in The Indigo Disk, but details about its type and origins remain unknown.

In the upcoming Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC, The Indigo Disk, players will have the opportunity to obtain Chikorita, Cyndaquil, and Totodile. This DLC is scheduled to be released during the winter season. Additionally, Pokemon Home users who have already captured these starters will be able to transfer them to Pokemon Scarlet and Violet without any extra charges. It should be noted that the inclusion of the new Tera forms for Chikorita, Cyndaquil, and Totodile in The Indigo Disk has not been directly confirmed by The Pokemon Company.

Leaks indicate that new Tera forms, functioning like Pokemon X and Y's Mega Evolutions, will be introduced in the upcoming Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC. This has led fans to speculate that there may be unique Tera evolutions if the leaks prove accurate. While these forms have yet to be officially revealed, the showcased designs offer a sneak peek into the possibilities that await in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Furthermore, these Tera forms stay true to the beloved Generation 2 evolutions while incorporating distinctive elements that make them stand out in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

Set to launch on September 13, the first DLC for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, titled The Teal Mask, will take players to Kitakami to unravel the region's folklore-based mysteries. Once The Teal Mask is released, players will have access to over 100 returning Pokemon, any of which could potentially receive new Tera forms.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is available now for Nintendo Switch.
