Milo Ventimiglia Expresses Desire for Reunion with 'This Is Us' Co-Star Justin Hartley on 'Tracker' (Exclusive)

In an exclusive interview with Us Weekly, Milo Ventimiglia expresses his admiration for Justin Hartley's new show 'Tracker' and shares his eagerness for a potential reunion on the series.

Even though This Is Us ended in 2022, Milo Ventimiglia, who played a member of the Pearson family, is always open to reuniting with his former castmates.

“There’s so many, too many to name,” Ventimiglia, 46, shared with Us when asked about which former costar he would love to collaborate with again. “Everybody from This Is Us is wonderful.”

The actor mentioned that he recently watched Tracker, a show starring Justin Hartley, who portrayed his onscreen son in all six seasons of the NBC drama. Ken Olin and Roxy Olin, both part of the creative team for This Is Us, serve as executive producers for Tracker. Hartley, along with the Olins, collaborated to adapt Jeffery Deaver's novel The Never Game into Tracker while filming This Is Us.

Ventimiglia expressed his pride for Justin, Ken, and Roxy Olin during an interview with Us in February, mentioning that he also watched Justin's show the night before. He recognized familiar faces and names from This Is Us in the production of Tracker.

In the show Tracker, which premiered after the Super Bowl last month, Hartley stars as Colter Shaw, a survivalist who helps people and law enforcement solve mysteries across the country. Ventimiglia praised the show, saying he thought it was great and Hartley had a fun role.

The actor, known for his role in Gilmore Girls, expressed his excitement about the possibility of reuniting with Hartley or any other former cast members from his previous projects over the years. He mentioned that working with them again would be a blast.

Hartley expressed his desire to reunite with the This Is Us cast on Tracker. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight in February, he mentioned, "I’m always thinking about ways to get back together with those guys. It’d have to be something really special."

He also shared potential ideas for working with his former costars again, suggesting a crossover. Hartley playfully proposed, "Maybe we could find out [my character’s] such a good tracker. Maybe he finds Jack? Like maybe he never died, something like that? A plot twist. Could you imagine? Like, he is good."

Ventimiglia may not have a This Is Us reunion on Tracker yet, but he is keeping busy with exciting projects alongside old friends. In his latest movie, Land of Bad, he stars alongside Liam Hemsworth, Luke Hemsworth, and Ricky Whittle - all longtime pals.

Ventimiglia expressed his joy in working with his friends, emphasizing the fun and laughter they share on set. Despite the hard work involved, he highlighted the lack of tension among the group, except for what is required for their on-screen roles. He found the experience to be incredibly enjoyable and wished it could have lasted longer.

In "Land of Bad," Ventimiglia plays Master Sergeant John “Sugar” Sweet, a member of a military team tasked with finding a missing CIA asset. When things go wrong, their only hope for survival lies with a drone operator, played by Russell Crowe.

Ventimiglia shared, "I feel a strong connection between Sugar and Jack Pearson — like a family. In the beginning of 'Land of Bad,' Sugar talks about his daughter enjoying Fruit Loops, showing he's a loving father. You root for him to make it home safely, to complete the mission. There are many inspiring moments for these characters I portray in action-packed roles. It's exciting to be part of this world, especially alongside two Hemsworths and Ricky Whittle. It's a blast!"

Land of Bad is in theaters now and will be available on digital March 19.
