Millie Bobby Brown has clarified that Jon Bon Jovi will not be performing at her upcoming wedding to Jake Bongiovi, son of the rockstar.
"I feel as though it's requesting that I put on an elaborate performance for everyone," she expressed. "I believe that the gentleman truly deserves some time off. He never rests. He is constantly engaged in tennis or singing lessons. I think he requires a respite. A three-hour respite."
Fortunately, the wedding planning is progressing smoothly.
"Jake is incredibly invested and exceedingly supportive throughout the entire process," expressed the actress. "I've never experienced any sense of solitude because, in all honesty, it's quite delightful. I am constantly questioning whether this is the right decision or not, but in the end, it remains an intimately special day for both of us, and we are genuinely thrilled."
In May, Bon Jovi openly stated that he had no qualms about his son, who is now 21, tying the knot with the 19-year-old actress.
"I'm unsure about the relevance of age," he remarked while guesting on SiriusXM's "Andy Cohen Live". "Discovering the right companion and evolving collectively, I believe, is key. Building a bond together is wise advice I would offer. As a matter of fact, all of my children have found individuals with whom they believe they can foster such growth, and we genuinely appreciate them all."
