The couple, aged 20 and 22 respectively, were captured in photos by Page Six on Friday, May 24. They were spotted driving around town in a blue convertible, both wearing matching silver wedding bands on their left hands.

Earlier on Friday, news surfaced that Brown and Bongiovi had gotten married in secret a week before. The Sun reported that the couple had a quiet ceremony to say their vows and are now looking forward to a second celebration.

According to a source who spoke with We, Brown and Bongiovi were both involved in planning their wedding, with the actress from Britain taking on a more prominent role.

"He just wants her to be happy and completely trusts her opinion," a source exclusively told Us in September 2023 of Bongiovi. "He’s actively involved in all the planning and is becoming more excited each day."

The insider also mentioned that the couple hired a wedding planner to "make sure their vision is executed perfectly." The source added, "They both want the day to be flawless and are paying close attention to every detail."

The Stranger Things star was first linked to Bongiovi, one of Jon Bon Jovi and wife Dorothea Hurley’s sons, in June 2021.

After Brown enthusiastically accepted his proposal, she was amazed by the ring he chose for her.

"He slipped the ring onto my finger, but as I tried to show it off, it slipped right off and fell so quickly, it felt like a scene from a movie," she recalled. "Jake dove down quickly to retrieve it, despite warnings from the diver that it was dangerous for him to go so deep. Miraculously, he managed to rescue the ring and saved the day."

Brown expressed that their relationship symbolized mutual support and loyalty, stating, "It’s a reflection of who he is and I feel like we’re always going to have each other’s back and if anyone drops the ball, we got it."

When Bongiovi proposed, she used a decoy ring and later surprised Brown with her mother’s heirloom ring that they had found on the shore. Although Brown’s mom approved of the proposal, she was hesitant about Bongiovi taking the precious ring on a deep-sea dive due to concerns about losing it.
