Miley Cyrus was aware of her sister Noah Cyrus' relationship with Dominic Purcell before their mother Tish Cyrus got involved, according to sources.

Miley, 31, knew that Noah, 24, was dating Purcell, 54, even before Tish, 56, started pursuing the actor.

Contrary to what has been reported recently, another source has informed us that Noah was not Dominic's ex when Tish started dating him in 2022. According to the insider, they were already seeing each other when he began dating Tish.

Even though the first source is aware of the truth, they allege that Miley sided with her mom and did everything she could to prevent Noah from causing any issues at Tish and Purcell's wedding in August 2023.

Miley attempted to avoid getting involved in the family conflict, but ultimately her close relationship with Tish prevailed. According to a source, Miley feels that the rift within the family is currently irreparable and she is heartbroken that her family has been divided.

At present, Noah is unwilling to communicate with her sister, and Tish is not willing to consider reconciling with Noah, as stated by the source.

Rumblings of a family feud among the Cyrus siblings started in the summer of 2023 when Noah and Braison Cyrus were noticeably absent from their mother Tish's wedding in Malibu. (Tish is the mother of Miley, Braison, 29, and Noah with her ex-husband Billy Ray Cyrus, and she also has two other children, Brandi, 36, and Trace, 35, from a previous marriage.)

During the wedding weekend, Noah was seen wearing a T-shirt with her father's face on it at Walmart, which led some fans to speculate that she was on Team Billy Ray following his divorce from Tish in 2022. However, a different source revealed to Us exclusively in February that Noah was not invited to Tish's wedding due to tension over Purcell.

Furthermore, Miley appears to have a strained relationship with her father, who got married to Firerose in October 2023, adding to the alleged love triangle involving Tish, Noah, and Purcell.

In August 2023, a source shared with Us that Tish understood that the divorce could be difficult for her children, considering she and Billy Ray had been together for 30 years. Another insider mentioned that Tish was feeling sad about the family being divided over her and Billy Ray's new relationships.

During her speech at the 2024 Grammys in February, Miley seemed to address her strained relationship with Billy Ray by not mentioning him. Instead, she expressed gratitude towards her mom, her older sister Brandi, and her boyfriend, Maxx Morando.

Miley was in “shock” when she won Record of the Year for her song “Flowers” and later won Best Pop Solo Performance at the awards show. She shared a full speech on social media.
