Mike Tyson experienced a health scare while flying from Miami to Los Angeles. In Touch reported on Monday, May 27, that paramedics were called to the airplane after it landed at the Los Angeles International Airport.

An eyewitness informed the publication that before the paramedics arrived, the flight made an announcement requesting a doctor. The message was even displayed on everyone's screens.

We have contacted Tyson's representative for a comment.

Tyson, who is 57 years old, is getting ready for a live event where he will be fighting against influencer Jake Paul. The fight is scheduled to be broadcast on Netflix on July 20 and will take place at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Earlier this month, Tyson and Paul, who is 27 years old, met face-to-face during a press conference to discuss the upcoming fight.

During a press conference on May 13, Paul mentioned that Mike wanted the fight to be a professional one and that he is ready for the challenge. He expressed his respect for Tyson for stepping up and trying to defeat him. In response, Tyson initially complimented Paul for his attitude.

The legendary boxer responded, "I really like Jake a lot. But once he's in the ring, he has to fight like his life depends on it - because it will."

Their upcoming fight will be sanctioned by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations (TDLR), and a clear winner will be announced. Tyson and Paul will fight for eight two-minute rounds wearing 14-ounce gloves and without headgear.

Tyson was a legendary heavyweight boxer from 1985 to 2005. He is considered one of the greatest in history. On the other hand, Paul began boxing in 2018 after gaining popularity on social media.

After retiring from boxing, Tyson transitioned to TV and movies. One of his most famous roles was in the 2009 film The Hangover.

In April 2022, Tyson made headlines for a different airplane incident. He was accused of punching another passenger while on a flight from San Francisco to Florida. A video released by TMZ captured Tyson throwing punches at a man who was trying to take selfies with him. The San Francisco Police Department responded to the incident and detained the passenger involved in the altercation.

Following the incident, the San Mateo District Attorney’s Office decided not to press charges against Tyson. In a statement given to the Associated Press, they cited "the circumstances surrounding the confrontation" as the reason for their decision. This included factors such as the behavior of the victim before the incident, the interaction between Tyson and the victim, and the mutual agreement between them to not pursue charges.

Editor's P/S:

It is alarming to hear about Mike Tyson's recent medical emergency during a flight, especially given his history of health issues. While it's reassuring to know that he's now doing well, the incident highlights the importance of seeking timely medical attention when experiencing any concerning symptoms. The fact that paramedics were called to assist Tyson upon landing underscores the seriousness of the situation and the need for prompt intervention. Tyson's upcoming fight against Jake Paul has generated considerable attention, and his health scare may raise questions about his fitness to participate in such a strenuous event.

Additionally, the article mentions Tyson's previous airplane incident in April 2022, where he allegedly punched a passenger who was attempting to take selfies with him. While charges were not pressed in that case, the incident raises concerns about Tyson's potential for aggression, particularly in confined and stressful situations like airplane travel. It's crucial for Tyson and his team to prioritize his health and well-being, ensuring that any underlying medical issues are properly managed and that appropriate measures are in place to mitigate any risks associated with his future endeavors, including boxing matches.
