Melissa Gorga sympathizes with husband Joe Gorga after his comedy show cancellation in Las Vegas The 'RHONJ' star shares her feelings about the mishap ahead of BravoCon

Real Housewives of New Jersey star Melissa Gorga disclosed to Us the reason behind the cancellation of Joe Gorga's Las Vegas comedy show just before BravoCon. According to her, it was all a misunderstanding caused by artificial intelligence. She explained that someone posing as an employee from Brad Garrett's Comedy Club contacted Joe's manager and pretended to book a show. They sent Joe a fraudulent contract and instructed him to promote the event by sharing a ticket link, which he did for one day.

Joe quickly discovered that the anticipated show was not going to happen.

"It seems that Brad Garrett caught wind of it and stated, 'We never agreed to do this show.' And we were shocked," Melissa revealed. "We had to remove it as it turned out to be a complete scam, tricking Joe and deceiving everyone else involved."

Melissa expressed that Joe, at the age of 49, felt truly let down by the cancellation of the show. "He must have been so devastated," she shared with Us. "He said, 'I had a feeling it was too good to be true.' I felt sorry for him. But it's okay. These things happen."

Last month, drama unfolded when Brad, aged 63, took to Instagram to share a screenshot of Joe's supposed comedy show. He cautioned his followers that the event would not be happening at his Las Vegas venue. In a post on October 31, the Everybody Loves Raymond actor warned that people were being deceived into buying tickets through a fake link on Facebook. Brad stressed that the show was not legitimate and accused an "impostor" of scamming people for ticket funds for a non-existent performance. Furthermore, Brad clarified that he is not associated with Facebook and questioned how the show came to be organized by @catchnewjersey.

According to the advertisement, Joe was scheduled to appear on a show with comedian Jaclyn Marfuggi and fellow RHONJ star Frank Catania, who was referred to as a "special guest."

Later, Joe revealed that he was unaware that the show had been organized by a fraudulent promoter until he saw Brad's post on Instagram. "A representative for the Bravolebrity stated to Deadline that it was an imposter posing as Brad Garrett. Joe's attorney fell victim to the scam, unaware that signed contracts were involved."

Joe's representative expressed his disappointment, stating that he was eagerly anticipating his performance. They also assured fans that those who had bought tickets for the fraudulent show would be refunded.

In a separate Instagram post, Brad confirmed that Joe was unaware of the scam. The comedian clarified that the issue arose because the booking was done through a comedy club in NJ, which did not follow the correct procedures and engaged with an imposter on Facebook. Brad advised everyone to be cautious and not to trust individuals who ask for upfront payment when booking a club. He emphasized the importance of staying safe.
