McFarlane Toys has unveiled a sneak peek of their upcoming set of Pacific Rim figures, allowing fans to bring home the excitement of kaiju-stomping action. Each figure can now be pre-ordered for $19.99 USD and will come with its own exclusive comic book. McFarlane Toys is known for delivering high-quality figures, and they do not disappoint with their collection of Kaiju figures. One notable figure is Knifehead, the terrifying creature that killed Raleigh Becket's brother in the first film. Standing at 4 inches tall, the figure comes with two military vehicles and a rebuildable skyscraper for added destruction. The line also includes Otachi, the ever-evolving Kaiju that battled Gipsy Danger in Hong Kong, and Leatherback, who fans will remember from the same action sequence. And let's not forget about the Jaegers! Gipsy Danger, the main mecha from the film, is also available as a 4-inch figure. Along with the figure, fans will receive additional accessories such as a building, a tank, and a truck, showcasing the epic size of the robot. Get ready to recreate epic battles at home with these incredible Pacific Rim figures.
Additionally, Cherno Alpha and Crimson Typhoon are also available from the line. These jaegers met their untimely demise during the battle of Hong Kong. These figures perfectly capture the appearance of the Kaijus and Jaegers, allowing fans to recreate some of the movie's most memorable moments. While there is no current information about the release of additional figures, considering the extensive lore of the franchise, it wouldn't be surprising if more Kaijus and Jaeger toys are announced in the future.
‘Pacific Rim’ Made an Impact When Released in 2013
Pacific Rim burst onto the silver screen in the summer of 2013, quickly becoming a beloved classic and ushering in a fresh era for the kaiju genre alongside Legendary's MonsterVerse. Although its sequel, Pacific Rim: Uprising, released in 2018, was met with disappointment from both critics and box office numbers, it is doubtful that any future installments will grace theaters. However, the franchise still holds a devoted fanbase, evident in the current streaming of the anime series Pacific Rim: The Black on Netflix. Furthermore, with a new lineup of collectible figures on the horizon, it is evident that even after all these years, the franchise maintains its loyal following.
