Jack Grealish has shown no remorse for his extravagant celebrations following an extraordinary season, asserting that any perception of him as a "party boy" is inaccurate. The talented English player played a crucial role in Manchester City's remarkable treble triumph, which reached its pinnacle with a resounding victory over Inter Milan in the Champions League final.

Grealish garnered significant attention during City's post-match celebrations, where he enjoyed drinks and festivities alongside his teammates. Despite the scrutiny surrounding his behavior, he remained committed to his England obligations and made a notable contribution off the bench, assisting in a goal during Monday's 7-0 victory against North Macedonia.

"I don't believe it's solely a characteristic of being a party boy," he responded when questioned about the reaction to his indulgence.

"I would never deceive you by claiming that I abstain from drinking and partying because I do partake in such activities. However, there are numerous individuals who assert they do not engage in such behaviors when in reality, they do."

I am always honest because if you observe me doing something, you might say, "Wait, didn't he claim in an interview a few weeks ago that he wouldn't do that?"

But let me clarify, I simply take pleasure in what I do. I am fulfilling my dream of playing for what I believe is the greatest club in the world. We recently achieved the remarkable feat of winning the treble, so now I will take a well-deserved break with my loved ones and friends. After that, I will be eagerly ready to get back into action in four weeks.

"I was fully aware of my actions, as it is just a reflection of my personality. This is my usual behavior when I am at parties. However, it is important to note that this is not my usual demeanor. The reason behind my exuberance is that we have achieved the extraordinary feat of winning the treble, an accomplishment that may never occur again in our lifetime.

Therefore, I took the opportunity to revel in the festivities, and I was not the only one. In fact, if you observe closely, you will notice that many others recorded moments of my celebration. I can even present evidence of others engaging in similar behavior."

I had a fantastic time, and I know others did too, even though the cameras didn't capture everything. It was a personal moment of pure enjoyment for me, especially considering that it had been the most successful season of my entire career.

In the past, a season would typically last for nine months, but I extended mine to a full 12 months. During this time, I had the incredible opportunity to participate in a World Cup and emerged victorious with three trophies. Now, after a short break of around four weeks, I will be returning to training. So, why not make the most of this time and indulge in some well-deserved enjoyment?

Grealish said he had not been spoken to by England manager Gareth Southgate as he met up with the squad and felt he contributed as normal.

On Wednesday, along with the rest of the team, I attended training after sleeping at the camp. We continued our training on Thursday, all the while knowing deep down that I wouldn't be part of the Friday game.

I made the most of my training on Saturday and felt prepared. Then, on Sunday, I anticipated that it would be a close call as to who would be chosen to play.

I had the opportunity to come on during the match against Macedonia, and I am genuinely delighted about it. This season has been exceptional for me, the most prosperous one I have ever experienced. Now, I believe it is time for me to take a step back and unwind.

Sitting in the camp on Thursday, I experienced an overwhelming surge of emotions. It was the most intense high I had ever felt in my entire life during the weekend.

As I sat alone in my room, a thought consumed me: "Will I ever be able to experience that same level of euphoria again?"
