How to Unlock the Weapon Bay
Tuning and testing in the garage play a significant role in Armored Core 6, requiring players to invest a considerable amount of time. Finding the optimal configuration for your machine can transform a challenging boss fight into a manageable encounter. Among the intriguing tools that players can unlock is the Weapon Bay, although its usage is somewhat sparsely described in the game. To assist players in mastering the art of switching weapons from shoulders to arms during battle, this walkthrough will provide a comprehensive guide.Unlock the Weapon Bay by utilizing OS Tuning. This is the designated area for players to exchange the OST Chips they've earned during their battles in the Arena. Acquiring the Weapon Bay necessitates two OST chips, which means fans must vanquish at least one enemy in the Arena. Procure the Weapon Bay for automatic equipment installation.
How to Equip Arm Weapons on Shoulders
Now that the Weapon Bay has been installed, proceed to the Assembly area located in the garage. When navigating through the shoulder tabs, you will now notice the presence of two small squares on the shoulder weapons. To switch between the arm and shoulder weapons, utilize the R1/L1 or RB/LB buttons on these tabs. It is important to remember that left-arm weapons will only be accessible on the left shoulder, while right-side weapons will only be available on the right shoulder. This is the proper method for equipping arm weapons on the AC's shoulders. Be mindful of the AC's load capacity as it may result in an unusual weight distribution and balance.
How to Switch Weapons
Unfortunately, players are unable to utilize the weapons attached to their shoulders. However, they have the ability to swiftly switch between these weapons. Simply press the designated shoulder button, and the rear arm will seamlessly replace the corresponding weapon. On the PS5, this can be achieved by pressing R1 for the right shoulder weapon and L1 for the left shoulder weapon. On the Xbox, players can accomplish this by pressing RB for the right shoulder weapon and LB for the left shoulder weapon. This allows players utilizing double shotguns or an all-melee build to maintain additional weapons for other purposes. Feel free to experiment with various builds to create the ultimate mecha machine.
