Cross Progression is being introduced in Season 19 of Apex Legends, allowing players to merge their items and stats from multiple consoles into a single account. This will make transitioning between PC and console much smoother than before. However, connecting different Apex Legends accounts from different gaming systems can be a bit confusing. It's important for every player to understand how to activate Cross Progression. Here's what you need to know.

Cross Progression for Apex Legends was introduced with the launch of Season 19. All players, regardless of old or new accounts, are unable to opt out of this feature. This means that everyone will have access to Cross Progression, even if they only play on one platform. However, according to a post by Respawn, the process of linking Cross Progression will be gradually implemented.

Upon launching Apex Legends for the first time in Season 19, players may come across a screen on the main menu displaying all the accounts linked to their main EA account. It also provides a summary of the cosmetics and currencies earned on each of these accounts. If this screen appears, it indicates that the player's accounts are already linked, and they will be able to utilize all their items regardless of the platform they choose to play on.

If you don't see this screen upon logging in, just be patient. According to Respawn, they are gradually rolling out accounts to prevent any stability problems. Furthermore, if you created an EA account after October 26 and linked it to an existing account, you won't be able to take advantage of Cross Progression, as a measure against potential exploitation.

Players can enjoy playing with their unlocked characters on any platform. The same goes for cosmetics, except for console-exclusive rewards like the P.A.T.H. skin and Xbox Gold items which will only be available on their respective consoles.

Apex Coins, Crafting materials, Legend Tokens, and Heirloom Shards are all linked to a player's EA account, ensuring that they will be accessible on all platforms. However, any Apex Coins obtained or purchased while playing on the Nintendo Switch will only be usable on that platform.

Ranked leaderboards and 1st party achievements/trophies will remain separated by platform, while XP, Prize Tracks, and rewards from Challenges and the Battle Pass will be retained.
