Pokémon Sleep is designed to be a serene game focused on promoting healthy sleep habits. However, avid fans can still put their personal touch on the game by customizing their avatars and creating unique Pokémon-inspired titles for their Researcher persona. The only challenge is that some customization features in Niantic's sleep-tracking app can be difficult to locate. But worry not! This guide provides straightforward steps to easily change usernames, nicknames, and avatars in Pokémon Sleep.
How to Change Username
To edit your profile name in Pokemon Sleep, follow these steps:
1. Open the Main Menu.
2. Locate the avatar in the top-left corner.
3. Tap on the pen icon to access the profile editing options.
4. Choose a new name for your profile, keeping in mind that it should not exceed 12 characters.
5. Remember that special characters and emojis are not supported in usernames for this game.
How to Change Player Avatar
To change your avatar image in Pokemon Sleep, follow these steps:
1. Open the Main Menu and tap on the avatar located in the top-left corner.

From there, they can tap on the pen icon next to its current title to assign a new nickname. Additionally, players have the option to rename Pokemon from the Edit Team section in the Pokeball menu. It's important to note that Pokemon nicknames in Pokemon Sleep cannot exceed 12 characters and should not contain special characters or emojis, as they are not supported.
