Master the Shadows: Unveiling Diablo 4 Season Blessings and their Hidden Powers

Unlock powerful Seasonal bonuses in Diablo 4 with the upgradable Season Blessings Discover how to obtain and equip these blessings to enhance your gameplay

The wait is over! Diablo 4's first season, Season of the Malignant, has arrived with exciting new features. One of the highlights is the inclusion of Season Blessings, permanent buffs that players can unlock. These blessings, available to all characters participating in the seasonal content, not only speed up their progress but also make it more rewarding.

Unlike the Season Journey, Season Blessings are tied to the Battle Pass system. However, progressing through the Season Journey also contributes to unlocking these buffs through the Favor system. As you make your way through Diablo 4's Season 1, unlocking and utilizing these blessings will be a breeze, enhancing your gameplay experience throughout the duration of the Season of the Malignant.

What Are Season Blessings in Diablo 4?

In Diablo 4, Season Blessings are bonuses that last for the entire season and apply to all characters participating in the new content. These bonuses are exclusive to new Seasonal characters, created after July 20, 2023, and do not affect existing characters on the Eternal Realm. Smouldering Ashes can be earned through the Battle Pass (available in both free and premium versions) and can be used to unlock different tiers of bonuses for all Seasonal characters. One such bonus is the Urn of Aggression, which grants a 3% boost to XP from monster kills at the first tier.

Urn of Bargaining:+5% boost to Gold received from selling items to Vendors for the first tier

Urn of Reclamation: +10% boost to chance to find Rare Materials when Salvaging for the first tier

Urn of Prolonging: +15% duration of Elixirs for the first tier

Urn of Malignance: +5% boost to chance to find upgraded Malignant Hearts for the first tier

Each Season Blessing has four unlockable Tiers that enhance the abilities based on the number of Smouldering Ashes offered. However, it is worth noting that there are diminishing returns, with XP gain being capped at an 8% boost, as some players have discovered. To progress faster through the pre-World Tier 4 content, prioritize the upgrades for XP gain, chance of acquiring Rare Materials while Salvaging, and Malignant Heart before considering the boost to Gold and Elixir duration.

How To Unlock And Equip D4 Season Blessings

On the Season 1 home page in Diablo 4, players can access Season Blessings by entering the game with a character. The Seasonal Blessing menu can be found on the left side of the Season screen, offering a selection of five different blessings. However, the Season Blessings screen is only available to characters who are Level 40 or higher, and have progressed the Seasonal Battle Pass beyond Rank 8.

Once a character reaches Level 40 and obtains some Smouldering Ashes from the Diablo 4 Battle Pass, they can open the Season Blessings menu and start offering Ashes to acquire their desired Seasonal Blessing. As the Battle Pass progresses and players earn more Smouldering Ashes, the power of their Seasonal bonuses obtained through this system will also increase.

Once a Season concludes, characters will have their Season Blessings removed as they are transferred to the Eternal Realm. Therefore, these blessings can only be utilized throughout the entirety of Season 1.

Diablo 4 is accessible on PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, as well as Xbox One and Series X|S.
