What are Cellars in Diablo 4
In Diablo 4, players can discover various gruesome diversions hidden within the wilderness of Sanctuary. The Cellars, scattered throughout the wilds, are concealed locations that only reveal themselves on the minimap when players are in close proximity. These one-room dungeons pay homage to similar features that have been present in the franchise since its inception.
Unlike traditional dungeons, the Cellars in Diablo 4 are compact areas with a limited number of rooms. These abandoned mines, frozen tunnels, and old basements often only have one elite enemy to defeat.
For solo players, defeating cellars is a rather simple task, and the reward is usually a chest filled with valuable items such as gold. Additionally, defeating the enemies within the cellar grants extra XP and may even lead to encountering an elite and their minions. The contents of the cellar vary based on the type and location, with some containing crafting materials, such as the old mines that have nodes for collecting ore and gems, or being home to Bandits who possess rare and stolen goods.
The Cellars Of Fractured Peaks
Exploring the zone of Fractured Peaks can lead players to discover over 30 cellars filled with valuable gold, gear, and resources. However, some of these cellars are only accessible during specific times, like the Prologue, and their locations may vary, making them a challenge to locate and map.
